In this episode, we dive into the legend of the Yahoo Bigfoot, a creature said to inhabit the forests of West Virginia and Kentucky. This black-haired Bigfoot is said to be 8 feet tall, with some reports claiming that it can even reach 10 feet in height. It is believed to be highly intelligent and will often work jointly in small groups, but can also be very hostile, with some hunters reporting that small trees have been thrown at them.
One of the most famous encounters with the Yahoo Bigfoot was that of the frontiersman Daniel Boone, where he killed a Yahoo while protecting his son. Jonathan Swift also wrote about a large creature which he called a Yahoo in his book Gulliver’s Travels.
